# Use case: Academic research

Decentralized Autonomous Organizations are collaborative human efforts that use blockchain technology for mutual asset management and decision-making. This makes them an important area of research for teams working on behavioral economics, digital governance and political science.

The DeepDAO API end-points let you model the blockchain experiences of individual or custom groups of people. This includes 3+ years of DAO governance, membership and assets data, aggregated across blockchains and governance platforms, tailored to fit academic needs and methodologies. With the \[] API, you are not limited to particular siloes of organizations- you can now analyze the behavior of groups between organizations and ecosystems. We have already worked with researchers from different parts of the academia, including Hamburg University of Hamburg, University of Glasgow, Bocconi University, London Imperial College, and more.
